Alex is an audit Partner in the Jersey Office.
Alex joined Grant Thornton in 2005 and became a Partner in 2009. He leads the Jersey audit practice supporting the local leadership team in the execution of the service lines strategic plan. Prior to this he spent 9 years with a mid-market firm.
Alex is also a member of the firms Risk Management Board that is charged with oversight of risk, regulatory and compliance matters.
Sector experience
Alex is a speciailist in the audit of financial services businesses including:
- Regulated entities (FSB/TCB/IB)
- Investment entities across alternative asset classes
- SPVs and Securitisation Vehicles
- Listed entities (LSE/AIM)
Alex has signficant experience leading cross-border assignments bringing together multi-jurisdictional teams.
Furthermore, Alex maintains a portfolio of significant local trading businesses across a number of sectors including travel and transport, infrastructure and Fast Moving Consumer Goods.
