Experience
Mike is an Audit Director with more than 20 years’ international experience in audit, accounting and financial services across UK/Guernsey, the Cayman Islands and South Africa. Before joining Grant Thornton, he was an Associate Partner in Deloitte UK’s Guernsey audit and assurance practice.
Mike specialises in asset management and private capital funds, leading complex, multi-jurisdictional engagements. He has extensive experience in listed investment entities, including FTSE 250, AIM and TISE.
Mike has held senior leadership roles spanning strategy, finance, resource management, and operational transformation. He has led large, diverse teams and introduced innovative delivery models and technology-enabled solutions to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
